My name is Ming Carpenter and I am the Vacancy Services Manager for Mitcham Jobcentre Plus. I would like to bring to your attention a few of the services that we could help with your recruitment needs which includes the following:

• Employer Direct- allows you to give us your vacancies at times that suit you. Please call us on 0845 6012001 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
• Vacancy Services Manager- will make sure that all your vacancies are handled as quickly and effectively as possible.
• New Deal- an initiative to help the unemployed back into work and in some cases we will pay you a subsidy and a training grant.
• Work Trials- a short trial period of up to 15 working days. This is a period where you and your recruit can try each other out without any obligation- giving you both time to decide.
• Apply Direct- your vacancies can be advertised on the Internet and on our touch-screen Jobpoints in our offices so that, if you want, jobseekers can apply directly to you.
• Matching and Screening- Issuing, collating and sifting application forms on your behalf.
• Interview room facilities
• Disability Services- provides advice and guidance to help you employ disabled people including financial help and becoming a user of the Disability Symbol.
